Why this programme exists
We understand the unique challenges that come with managing sickle cell. Pain crises, hospital visits, and fatigue can make traditional work and learning environments inaccessible for many sickle cell warriors.
People living with sickle cell often need flexible ways to learn and work because of their health. However, many don't have access to affordable training or clear pathways into careers that allow this flexibility especially in tech.
This makes it harder for them to gain skills, earn sustainably, and reach their full potential.
This programme is built to provide flexible, accessible learning opportunities that can open doors to remote work and sustainable income on their own terms.
Through partnerships with sickle cell organisations, TIYE sponsors participants to join our digital skills training and mentorship programmes, ensuring that health is never a barrier to a tech career.
