TIYE Sponsors Free Blockchain Training in Partnership with GRAZAC Academy
At TIYE (Technology Initiative for Youth Employability), our mission has always been clear: to ensure that no young Nigerian is left behind in the digital economy. Today, we are proud to share one of our most forward-looking initiatives yet: sponsoring a free 4-month Web3 and blockchain training program in partnership with GRAZAC Academy.
Why Blockchain? Why Now?
The world is moving fast. Web3, the next evolution of the internet built on decentralisation, blockchain technology, and individual data ownership, is no longer a distant concept. It is actively reshaping finance, governance, healthcare, and commerce across the globe. For African youth to compete and lead in this new economy, they must be equipped with the skills to build it. That is exactly what this program is designed to do.
About the Program
In partnership with GRAZAC Academy a subsidiary of Grazac Innovation Hub based in Ogun State, Nigeria, TIYE is co-sponsoring a fully tuition-free blockchain development training open to Nigerian youth with a background in any programming language.
The program runs for 4 months and is available both onsite and virtually, removing geographical barriers for participants across Nigeria.
By the end of the training, participants will be able to:
- Deploy live smart contracts on mainnet
- Build blockchain products that address real local economic challenges
- Access mentorship and soft skills coaching to boost employability and interview readiness
Our Partnership with GRAZAC
GRAZAC Academy has already proven its impact in training over 2000 young talents in Web2 technologies and connecting many of them to entry-level tech jobs. As Victor Adeleye, founder of GRAZAC, noted, transitioning to Web3 can be expensive and out of reach for many talented young Africans. This program removes that barrier entirely.
TIYE’s sponsorship ensures this vision reaches further, aligning directly with our goal of creating career pathways into tech for underserved youth across Southwest Nigeria and beyond.
